Calligram Creation

Hosted by

Children
Tweens

Calligram Creation workshop with Armelle Chitrit for age groups 6-8; 8-10; 10-12. Maximum of 8 participants per group.

Join Armelle, poet, essayist and performer visiting from France, for this fun and inspiring activity! Armelle will guide each group of children to choose or create a poem, and illustrate it in the form of a calligram. A calligram is a set of words arranged in such a way that it forms a thematically related image. It can be a poem, a phrase, or a single word. The goal is to help children create a space of free expression for themselves through both writing and drawing.
