Flowerathon

Hosted by

Families

Event will take place at multiple JARC Homes. People will be contacted closer to the date of the event with the specific home's address.

April flurries bring ... no worries! Now that the ground has thawed (fingers crossed), NEXTGen Detroit and Repair the World invite you to venture out into the sunshine (still crossed) for Covid-conscious volunteering with JARC.

In teams of four, we will be help plant flowers at JARC homes throughout Oakland County. There are two ways to register:

  1. Have a Captain sign up your four-person team
  2. Or sign up individually to be placed with a team.

Got garden tools and gloves? Bring them along! Otherwise, JARC will provide tools and snacks for everyone. (And little bottles of water, but we recommend bringing your own reusable bottle.) Bring your own mask and keep it on.

  1. Space is extremely limited, so sign up ASAP to make sure you get in on the flower power.
