For the last two centuries, Jewish newspapers around the world have epitomized the adage “Two Jews, three opinions.” Whatever the event, Jewish journalists have expressed multiple often conflicting descriptions and interpretations of major events.

 

In this series, Professor Howard Lupovitch look at a few of these events and the varied interpretations in the Jewish press. Specifically:

   Dreyfus: The Trial and the Affair

   The Balfour Declaration

   The Bernie Madoff Scandal

   The Abraham Accords
