Mindfulness (also known as heartfulness) is the awareness that arises when we pay attention, on purpose, in the present moment, and without judgment.  

 

Join us for this special introduction to Mindful Living with Yoga Therapist, Julie Levinson. We’ll become familiar with mindfulness fundamentals, how to cultivate it and what steps to take to incorporate it into your life.  

 

Scientific studies have shown that being more present has many positive mind/body benefits, including how to:

About Julie Levinson, BFA, C-IAYT, E-RYT, Reiki Master 

Julie Levinson is a Certified Yoga Therapist with 20+ years' experience teaching yoga to a diverse community of students in Metro Detroit. Julie was the lead yoga teacher and Manager of Healing Arts at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. In her work, she has offered many presentations on topics including, meditation, mindfulness, relaxation techniques for stress relief and self-care.
